The Conservatory, a Second Home

In the middle of the city, a beautiful house, a lovely garden, and in between, a terrace that no longer met current desires. A spacious conservatory was needed, which should become a second home with year-round use. Who would take on this challenge? Sunshine accepted it.

The Client's Wishes

From their vast experience and unique manufacturing capabilities, the Sunshine team developed a concept that met all the client’s wishes. For this conservatory size, no supports in the room thanks to a welded roof construction, custom-made door and window solutions, highly insulating triple glazing, and in the roof area, sun protection glass with complementary weather-protected under-glass awnings are just a few highlights.

Quick Installation

Thanks to solid and professional planning preparation, as well as collaboration with competent specialist companies, the realization proceeded swiftly and smoothly. The conservatory was delivered in large components ready for glazing and installed in just a few days. The glass was on-site simultaneously, and glazing began on the second day. All this meant a short installation time and “quiet” on the construction site.

The subsequent work, such as insulation of the floor slab, installation of underfloor heating and screed, as well as the start of exterior work, could be planned early and begun immediately. The final completion was quickly achieved.

Today, upon entering from the house, one experiences an aha moment each time anew: tranquility, abundance of light, and an unobstructed view into the garden. You feel like you’re outside. The anthracite-colored profiles are not noticeable. They don’t have a pronounced contrast to the green in the garden. You look past them. The glass-enclosed solid wall to the neighboring side with a freely cantilevered gas-fired heating fireplace and the wall unit with integrated flat-screen TV now invite you to chill and relax. And as darkness falls, floor spotlights laid in the perimeter area create an atmosphere of security and coziness. Now, even larger celebrations with friends are no longer a problem. Depending on the weather, in the conservatory or on the new terrace. Or both.
