OpenAir sliding roof window in Chelsea (London)

This Sunshine skylight (OpenAir 4-piece type) was installed in the Chelsea neighborhood in January 2010. It consists of 3 sliding sashes and a top-mounted fixed sash made of seawater-resistant and thermally separated 3-chamber aluminum profiles. The external dimensions of the OpenAir sliding roof window are 335 x 650 cm (width x height).

Verladung und Montage des OpenAir-Dachfensters

The skylight was transported to London on a special low-loader and was lifted by crane to the top floor at a height of 20 meters within a very short time. As it was delivered ready for installation, the road only had to be closed for 4 hours for unloading.

Sun protection function ipasol shine 40/21

Protects from solar heat, only about 21% of the energy reaches the interior. The heat is no longer noticeable, yet ventilation cannot be dispensed with. ActiveTM - Glass

Cleaning effect of the outer glass surface by glass-hard, imperishable titanium dioxide coating. In combination with sunlight by catalyst effect decomposition of organic substances. Interior awning

Sunshine large indoor awnings have been developed for shading very large areas of up to 100 m². The awning is moved by an electric drive located in the fabric winding roller. The drive motor of the awning is a so-called plug-in drive (220 – 240 Volt, 50 Hz, 16 Ampère) and is equipped with thermal protection and limit switch. The guide rails, the mounting brackets and the awning housing are made of powder-coated aluminum.
The awning cover is made of weather- and light-resistant acrylic fibers.
